tangible results in the form of return on investment. Images and design
that bring results. Wallstudios provides images and designs that customers

for the past twelve years. Specializing in the area of product/packaging
design with an Advanced Diploma in Advertising and Graphic Design. Previous

her a very strong knowledge in colour application and printing processes.
Brown Hill Estate
We started working with Brown Hill over four and a half years. We were
traveling Australia at the time and visited Brown Hills cellar door to
try some of their wines. Jim Bailey just happened to be working on some
ideas for their new wine label, but was getting no where.
"Well if you like, we could take a look at it for you" Michelle
said. Four and a half years later we are still designing and doing photography
for them and they are one of our most loyal and respected clients.
WallStudios has developed a great working relationship with Nathan Bailey
and his family from Brown Hill Estate . Over the years we have completed
a large scope of work for them. This includes designing their brand identity,
wine labels, company stationary, vineyard and winery signage, communication
material, point of purchase, newsletters and website including secure
on-line ordering facilities.
We have worked closely with Brown Hill over the years and have watched
their business grow. We feel we have been a very strong part of this growth
and we continue to work closely with them today.
WallStudios has continued to develop a large scope of work for Brown
Hill including promotional matterial.
Newsletters every quarter are a big part of how they promote their winery
to new and existing clients.
Other promotional materials also include magazine and news paper advertisements,
signage, order forms, wine lovers slips, billboards and flyers.
Michelle designed the branding for Macaw Creek incorporating an illustration
of the colourful native parrots the Macaws.
Hence the branding began and the clever use of metallic colour to distinguish
varieties was also developed.
When the client Rod Hooper came to chat with me he was looking for a modern,
contemporary feel for his wine label design.
I had a blank canvas to work from, however he really wanted an illustration
of the colourful native parrots the Macaws. Hence the branding began and
the clever use of metallic colour to distinguish varieties was also developed.
WallStudios was commissioned to design a label for boutique wine maker
Leachim. This was the first label for Koolyatta Vineyards so branding
needed to be designed.
The branding needed to reflect the fact that it was a limited edition
premium boutique wine.
Andrew and Rosemary Michael own Koolyatta Vineyards nestled in the tranquil
sheep grazing area of the Barunga Ranges. It was important for them to
have a focus on their sheep stud with in the label. This was achieved
through an illustration of both sheep and vines. A very conservative feel
was created through the use of strong fonts and a foil to enhance the
branding on the front label.
The key element for the Orange Lane wine label was a photograph of the
Orange lane street sign, a small alley behind the booze brothers store
in Norwood.
Once we had taken the photography the branding presented itself only to
be enhanced through he use of bold orange and black colours.
The brash new Orange Lane label commands attention because of the use
of bright orange. If you took a bottle of Orange Lane Shiraz home for
dinner and enjoyed it, you’d have no trouble finding it again —
which is surely what good marketing is all about. Importantly, while Orange
Lane uses bold colour, the graphic design is tastefully executed and would
appeal to adventurous young wine drinkers.
Orange Lane, incidentally, is a Buyer’s Own Brand’ produced
by the Booze Brothers liquor chain — a sign of things to come, perhaps,
as retailers make the most of their own retail and distribution muscle.
Even more reason for small players to spend time producing labels that
are original.
Booze Brothers had registered the name Orange Lane — the name of
a little street behind its Norwood hotel.
They thought it looked like something out of New York. But the idea is
to grab the audience by the throat, and I think this design achieves that.’
Adrian Saturno, of Booze Brothers, described the label as "very urbanised
and in your face". "It's certainly different," he said,
"and I think you have to be these days."
Michelle Wall designed the label with BarrieTucker.

Yalumba Menzies
This was originally a conservative label but needed a face lift. I split
the original label and modernised the fonts and used a parchment stock
which always looks extremely classy.
A real facelift was created.
Tatachilla partners and growers
Michelle worked closely with Rebecca Clegg from Lion Nathan to give both
the Partners and Growers labels a refreshing and modern feel.
The Tatachilla branding was also revamped to clean it up and to place
more of an emphasis on the word Tatachilla.
Angoves
This premium wine required a strong conservative feel with black, gold
and white being the main colours.
A screen effect was used to bring up the Angoves logo, which everyone
recognises.
The gold screen around the edges lends itself to a perfume label design
which was at the request of the Brand Manager Matt Redin.
WallStudios may specalise in the wine industry but we try not to limit
our selves to that area only.
tectaloy requested that we design an ad campaign for them around the
premise "use tectaloy or your radiator gets it."

Tilbrook Estate
This boutique winery in the Adelaide Hills, needed a brand Identity and
relevent promotional materials to establish their winery in the market
place.
Flyers, banners, post cards, invites, and signage as well as all their
packaging requirements were designed by Michelle Wall.
Scion
Yrsa's Vineyard located in Victoria's Mornington Peninsula, needed a
brand identy to be developed.
This was then extended to include business cards, letter head, envelopes
and packaging designs. |
