McLeay’s Block
Penley Estate
Penley Estate of South Australia’s Coonawarra commisioned Wallstudios to design a new wine label for a red wine to be sold exclusively in Dan Murphy’s stores. The concept was to produce a wine label that represented the Coonawarra region and would have strong presence with in its price point. The result was a modern label with strong bold colours that projected a strong shelf presence which has been well received in the competitive market.

If you took a bottle of Orange Lane Shiraz home for dinner and enjoyed it, you’d have no trouble finding it again — which is surely what good marketing is all about. Importantly, while Orange Lane uses bold colour, the graphic design is tastefully executed and would appeal to adventurous young wine drinkers.
